Welcome to my Neora review.

One of the questions that we are going to take a look at and get answers to is if Neora is a scam or not.

If you are just starting out with a program that you can make money from home with, it can be very difficult to understand how you can spot a scam from a legitimate program.

We do all of the research for you so you don’t have to.

Today, we are going to dig into the details about the company, the products, and the compensation plan.

We are going to then take that information and make sure they are in compliance with the law (in our opinion) and let you know towards the end of this assessment.

Also, before you go, grab one of my money-making bonuses below.

Neora Review – What Is It?

Neora is an MLM company that offers you the ability to make money from home by joining the opportunity and selling the products and the opportunity to others.

The niche that I would say that Neora is would be the wellness and skincare niche.

Neora was the result of a rebranding of a well-established company that was called Nerium which was very popular.

The announcement was made on 1-2019, and the reason that was given by the company was that the focus is not focused on the actual ingredients of their flagship product anymore.

When the “Nerium International” company first launched back in 2011, the flagship product they went with had the ingredient “Nerium oleandrin extract in it and that was the main reason for the company name.

The company decided to change the company name since they offer a much wider variety of skincare and wellness products all over the world.

But here is the thing…

I could have been due to a recent lawsuit that the company went through about the product they had, but I can’t confirm if this was the reason, but likely.

I say this because the company (Nerium Skincare) that supplied the Nerium oleandrin extract product formulation actually sued the Nerium International back in 2015 and finally came to a settlement in June 2018 in the sum of 10 million dollars paid to Nerium Skincare.

Either way, a new name, and a new beginning, but I can guarantee you that you won’t be hearing any mention about that ingredient anymore from the Neora company moving forward.

Company Overview

When taking a look at any MLM company we like to see who owns or runs the company on one of the company website pages.

This gives us the ability to research the experience and background that the owner has that goes towards our decision on whether we would recommend the opportunity or not.

Neora is run by Jeff Olson.

He is the CEO and founder of Neora.

The company website also mentions that ex-wife Renee Olson and daughter Amber Olson Rourke are also the co-founders.

The company is based out of Addison Texas in the USA as listed on the company website.

What Products Does Neora Offer?

In this section of the review, we are going to take a look at the products that Neora offers.

Neora offers both retail products for customers and wholesale products for its affiliate members (distributors) which is a great example of a company complying with the MLM laws.

The company specializes in wellness and skincare products.

There are none of the Nerium oleandrin extract products contained within the products anymore.

But the company does offer a very good range of products that will provide options for customers that are interested in skincare and wellness.

The main product line that Neora carries is the “IQ” line of products that contain some great ingredients.

Firm Body Contour Cream – This product comes in a cream that was created to help firm and tighten skin. This product retails for $120 per tube. (6.7 fluid oz.)

Age IQ Night Cream – This product comes in a cream that you apply before bed to help rehydrate and bring out a youthful and hydrated skin with repairing qualities. This product retails for $120 per tube. (1 fluid oz.)
Age IQ Day Cream – This product comes in a cream that you apply during the day to help protect your skin against the harmful environment and sun. This product retails for $100 per tube. (1 fluid oz.)

How Does The Neora Compensation Plan Work?

In this section of the review, we are going to take a look at how the compensation plan works and how you can make money with the Neora opportunity.

There are 2 main ways that you can make money with Neora which are:

Retail Commissions
Referral Commissions

But first, you will have to get started as an affiliate member.

Getting Started

To become an affiliate member which will give you the ability to make money with Nerium is to pay the affiliate membership fee.

The minimum cost to join as an affiliate member is $49.95.

They also offer product packs that will help qualify you to earn a bigger commissions bonus and of course offers product discounts for those bulk product purchases.

After you pay your affiliate fee, you are all set.

Retail Commissions

The first way that you can make money is by selling the products that Neora offers.

This is called retail sales.

This is not the main part that attracts people to MLM, but it does play a major role in why people join, and compliance.

It breaks down to the difference in price that you purchase the product for at wholesale price and what you sell it for at the suggested retail price.

How To Position Yourself With The Compensation Plan

Now, if you are wanting to make money with the Neora opportunity, and if you’re like me and would want to make the most money as I possibly can with it?

Then you will want to pay attention to the ranks that you can qualify for in the compensation plan.

When you are able to increase your rank, you are going to be able to earn a lot more money.

The higher the rank means that you are most likely earning money, and to maximize the compensation plan will require you to increase your rank.

So, it is very important to understand what you are going to need to do in order to increase your rank.

With that said, let’s talk about the Neora affiliate ranks.

Ranks And Qualifications

There are a total of 18 ranks that you can achieve in the Neora compensation plan.

The higher the rank you achieve in the pay plan will mean the more money that you can make with it by opening up more avenues that you can earn with.

Here is a breakdown of each of the 18 ranks, including what you need to qualify for them:

Active Brand Partner Rank – To qualify for this rank you will need to generate 80 PV in personal monthly volume or 120 PV per month in retail sales for this ranks requirements.
Brand Partner Plus Rank – To qualify for this rank you will need to keep the same PV volume requirements from the last rank, and also personally refer 1 Active Brand Partner ranked member for this ranks requirements.
Senior Brand Partner Rank – To qualify for this rank you will need to keep the same PV volume requirements from the last rank, personally refer 2 Active Brand Partner ranked members, generate 500 GV per month and 150 LQV per month for this ranks requirements.
Elite Brand Partner Rank – To qualify for this rank you will need to generate 80 PV in personal monthly volume or 180 PV per month in retail sales, personally refer 2 Active Brand Partner ranked members, generate 1200 GV per month, and 250 LQV per month for this ranks requirements.
Premier Brand Partner Rank – To qualify for this rank you will need to keep your monthly auto-ship or maintain 240 PV in retail sales per month, sponsor 3 Active Brand Partner ranked members, generate 2000 GV, and 500 LQV per month for this ranks requirements.
Director Rank – To qualify for this rank you will need to keep your monthly auto-ship or maintain 320 PV in retail sales per month, sponsor 3 Active Brand Partner ranked members, generate 3500 GV, and 750 LQV per month for this ranks requirements.

Silver International Marketing Director Rank – To qualify for this rank you will need to maintain a monthly auto-ship of 150 PV or maintain 400 PV per month, sponsor 3 Elite Directors and 2 Gold National Marketing Director ranked members, generate 6 Million per month, and 600,000 LQV per month for this ranks requirements.
Gold International Marketing Director Rank – To qualify for this rank you will need to maintain a monthly auto-ship of 150 PV or maintain 400 PV per month, sponsor 3 Elite Directors and 2 Platinum National Marketing Director ranked members, generate 12 Million GV per month, and 1,200,000 LQV per month for this ranks requirements.

Personal Sales Commissions

This bonus commission “bump” in the percentage you earn for retail sales does help with the retail sales that are generated as a whole per month.

Here is a breakdown of how this works:

When you can generate between $300 to $1499 in monthly retail sales, you are awarded a 5% “Personal Sales Commission” commission rate percentage.
When you are able to generate between $1500 to $2999 in monthly retail sales, you are awarded a 10% “Personal Sales Commission” commission rate percentage.
When you can generate between $3000 or more in monthly retail sales, you are awarded a 15% “Personal Sales Commission” commission rate percentage.

These qualifying sales are generated through retail sales and preferred customer orders only.

Residual Commissions

The residual commissions that you can make with Neora are what attract people to join MLM companies.

These commissions are from the sales that are generated through retail, preferred customer, personal, and autoship product sales.

You are paid out on the sales volume.

The company pays out the residual commissions that are paid out using the unilevel compensation plan.

I left a breakdown on how the unilevel plan works above, but with Neora, they pay out these commissions differently than the typical unilevel compensation plan.

You get paid on your Senior Brand Partner and higher ranked members that are within your unilevel compensation plan team.

It’s more like just a generational bonus in my opinion.

You will be able to earn up to 8 levels of Senior Brand Partner and higher ranked members on any 1 leg of your unilevel.

Here is a breakdown of what you can earn in residual commissions depending on your qualified rank:

Elite Brand Partner Rank – When qualified at this rank you will be able to earn 5% on the 1st Senior Brand Partner or higher ranked affiliate in any 1 leg and 4% on the 2nd SBP or higher-ranked member.
Premier Brand Partner Rank – When qualified at this rank you will be able to earn 5% on the 1st and 2nd Senior Brand Partner or higher ranked affiliate in any 1 leg and 2% on the 3rd SBP or higher-ranked member.
Director Rank – When qualified at this rank you will be able to earn 5% on the 1st and 2nd Senior Brand Partner or higher ranked affiliate in any 1 leg, 3% on the 3rd, and 2% on the 4th SBP or higher-ranked member.
Team Director Rank – When qualified at this rank you will be able to earn 5% on the 1st and 2nd Senior Brand Partner or higher ranked affiliate in any 1 leg, 4% on the 3rd and 3% on the 4th to 6th SBP or higher-ranked member.
Elite and Premier Director Ranks – When qualified at these ranks you will be able to earn 5% on the 1st and 2nd Senior Brand Partner or higher ranked affiliate in any 1 leg, 4% on the 3rd to 6th SBP or higher, and 3% on the 7th SBP or higher-ranked member.
Area Marketing Director Rank – When qualified at this rank you will be able to earn 5% on the 1st and 2nd Senior Brand Partner or higher ranked affiliate in any 1 leg, 4% on the 3rd to 5th SBP or higher, 5% on the 6th and 3% on the 7th SBP or higher-ranked member.
Regional Marketing to Silver National Marketing Director Ranks – When qualified at these ranks you will be able to earn 5% on the 1st and 2nd Senior Brand Partner or higher ranked affiliate in any 1 leg, 4% on the 3rd to 5th, 5% on the 6th and 4% on the seventh SBP or higher-ranked member.
Gold National Marketing Director Rank – When qualified at this rank you will be able to earn 5% on the 1st and 2nd Senior Brand Partner or higher ranked affiliate in any 1 leg, 4% on the 3rd to 5th SBP or higher, 5% on the 6th and 7th, and 4% on the 8th SBP or higher-ranked member.

There is an extra 3% bonus bump when you qualify for a new member when you achieve this in your first 3 months.

First Order Bonus

You can get 20% off your first order when you get started with the company and get your first preferred customer.

Preferred Customer Bonus Credits And Commissions

You can get awarded with credits toward your own purchases and also earn commissions when you sponsor enough preferred customers to the company.

These credits and bonus checks are broken down by tiers.

Here is a breakdown of what you will earn when you achieve these goals set up by the company:

Tier 1 – When you are able to sponsor 3 preferred customers with 210 PV per month and maintain that, you will earn up to $140 in monthly credit that goes toward your autoship product purchase.
Tier 2 – When you can sponsor 6 preferred customers with 55 PV or more each with a total of 500 PV per month, you will earn $50 per month and a $140 credit that goes toward your monthly autoship product purchase.
Tier 3 – When you are able to sponsor 9 preferred customers with 55 PV or more each with a total of 800 PV per month, you will earn $150 per month and a $140 credit that goes toward your monthly autoship product purchase.

There are also additional bonus commissions that you can qualify for when your team does well in this section.

Here is a breakdown on what you can earn and what your team will need to do in order for you to qualify for these bonus commissions:

Earn $200 (Level 1) – When you qualify at tier 2 or tier 3 above and also have 3 personally recruited tier 1 members.
Earn $500 (Level 2) – When you qualify at tier 3 above and also have 3 personally referred tier 2 members.
Earn $1000 (Level 3) – When you qualify at tier 3 above and also have 3 personally referred Level 1 one members.
Earn $2000 (Level 4) – When you qualify at tier 3 above and also have 3 personally referred tier 3 members.

Sponsoring Commissions

Neora offers sponsoring commissions that are paid out when you sign up a new person that purchases one of the enrollment packs.

When you first get started you will earn 20% from any new member that you enroll on an enrollment pack and when you are qualified as a National Marketing Director rank or higher, you will earn 30%.

Matching Residual Bonus Commissions

These are commissions that you can earn as a qualified Elite Director or higher ranked affiliate member.

This works similar to how the residual compensation plan works as in the generations of TD’s and higher that are within any of your unilevel legs.

You can get paid on up to 6 generations of Team Directors and higher ranked members in your unilevel legs as a percentage of what those members earn through the residual pay plan.

Here is a breakdown of the matching bonus commissions that you can earn when qualified:

Elite Director Rank – When qualified as this rank you will receive a 5% match on 1 Team Director per unilevel leg.
Premier Director Rank – When qualified as this rank you will receive an 8% match on the 1st Team Director and 5% your 2nd per unilevel leg.
Area Marketing Director Rank – When qualified as this rank you will receive a 10% match on your 1st Team Director and 8% your 2nd per unilevel leg.
Regional Marketing Director Rank – When qualified as this rank you will receive a 10% match on the 1st and your 2nd Team Directors, and 5% on your 3rd per unilevel leg.
National Marketing Director Rank – When qualified as this rank you will receive a 10% match on the 1st Team Director, 12% your 2nd, 8% on your 3rd and 4% on your 4th per unilevel leg.
Silver National Marketing Director Rank – When qualified as this rank you will receive a 10% match on the 1st Team Director, 12% your 2nd, 10% on your 3rd and 6% on your 4th per unilevel leg.
Gold National Marketing Director Rank – When qualified as this rank you will receive a 10% match on the 1st Team Director, 12% on your 2nd, 10% on your 3rd, 6% on your 4th and 4% on your 5th per unilevel leg.
Platinum National Marketing Directors and higher Ranks – When qualified as this rank you will receive a 10% match on the 1st Team Director, 12% on your 2nd, 10% on your 3rd, 6% on your 4th, 4% on the 5th and 3% on your 6th per unilevel leg.

You can earn a ton of money with this match pay, but unfortunately, the company has put caps on the amount that you can earn that will depend on your rank in the company.

Here is a breakdown of the caps on the matching bonus pay that you can earn per match:

Elite Director Rank – When you are qualified at this rank you capped at earning $300 per match.
Premier Director Rank – When you are qualified at this rank you are capped at earning $500 per match.
Area Marketing Director Rank – When you are qualified at this rank you are capped at earning $750 per match.
Regional Marketing Director Rank – When you are qualified at this rank you are capped at earning $1000 per match.
National Marketing Director Rank – When you are qualified at this rank you are capped at earning $1500 per match.
Silver National Marketing Director Rank – When you are qualified at this rank you are capped at earning $2000 per match.
Gold National Marketing Director Rank – When you are qualified at this rank you are capped at earning $3000 per match.
Platinum National Marketing Director Rank – When you are qualified at this rank you are capped at earning $5000 per match.
International Marketing Director Rank – When you are qualified at this rank you are capped at earning $7000 per match.
Silver International Marketing Director Rank – When you are qualified at this rank you are capped at earning $10,000 per match.
Gold International Marketing Directors and higher Ranks – When you are qualified at these ranks, you are capped at earning $12,000 per match.

Infinity Bonus Commissions

The infinity bonus commissions are a percentage that you can earn from your downlines total sales volume when you qualify for it.

When you qualify for the rank of Silver National Marketing Director or higher you can start earning from this bonus.

Here is a breakdown of the extra bonus commissions that you can earn from your downline member’s sales volume when you qualify for it:

Silver National Marketing Director Rank – When qualified at this rank you can earn a 0.5% Infinity Bonus from your downline sales volume.
Gold National Marketing Director Rank – When qualified at this rank you can earn a 0.75% Infinity Bonus from your downline sales volume.
Platinum National Marketing Director Rank – When qualified at this rank you can earn a 1% Infinity Bonus from your downline sales volume.

Generational Bonus Commissions

This is yet another generation structured bonus, but this time it is actually called a “generation bonus”.

This pays on your National Marketing Director ranked members within your unilevel legs on your unilevel compensation plan structure.

You can start earning from these generational bonus commissions when you are qualified as a Platinum National Marketing Director and higher.

This pays on Team Director generations within the unilevel dream.

If you hit Platinum National Marketing Directors and higher, you can get a bigger bonus.

Platinum National Marketing Directors and higher “National” Ranks – When qualified for these rank you can earn 1% on 1 National Marketing Director or higher generation per your unilevel legs.
International Marketing Director Rank – When you are qualified at this rank you can earn 1.5% on your 1st National Marketing Director and 1% on your 2nd per your unilevel legs.
Silver International Marketing Director and higher Ranks – When qualified at this rank you can earn 2% on your 1st National Marketing Director generation, 1.5% on your 2nd and 1% on your 3rd per unilevel legs.

Rank Achievement Commissions Bonus

Just like many other MLM companies on the market, Neora offers one-time bonus commissions when you reach a certain rank in the company.

However, there is a catch.

It has a time limit on when you are able to earn these commissions.

Here is how the rank achievement bonus is broken down:

When you first sign up to the Neora opportunity and reach the rank of Director within your first 60 days, you will earn a one-time bonus of $200.
When you first sign up to the Neora opportunity and reach the rank of Director within your first 90 days, you will earn a one-time bonus of $100.

If it takes you 91 days to qualify for the Director rank, then sorry, you will not earn a penny from this bonus.

Lifestyle Bonus Commissions (Monthly)

To offset the lackluster rank advancement commissions bonus that Neora has in my opinion, they do offer a lifestyle bonus commission.

Some MLM companies refer to this bonus as a “car bonus”.

These are monthly commissions that you will earn when you reach and qualify for the rank of Premier Director rank and higher.

As long as you maintain your rank, you will earn these commissions every month.

Here is a breakdown of the monthly “lifestyle bonus” commissions that you can earn per the rank that you are qualified at:

Premier Director Rank – As long as you are qualified at this rank, you will earn an extra $150 from the company every month.
Area Marketing Director Rank – As long as you are qualified at this rank, you will earn an extra $250 from the company every month.
Regional Marketing Director Rank – As long as you are qualified at this rank, you will earn an extra $400 from the company every month.
National Marketing Director Rank – As long as you are qualified at this rank, you will earn an extra $1200 from the company every month.
Silver National Marketing Director Rank – As long as you are qualified at this rank, you will earn an extra $3000 from the company every month.
Gold National Marketing Director Rank – As long as you are qualified at this rank, you will earn an extra $7000 from the company every month.
Platinum National Marketing Director Rank – As long as you are qualified at this rank, you will earn an extra $15,000 from the company every month.
International Marketing Director Rank – As long as you are qualified at this rank, you will earn an extra $30,000 from the company every month.
Silver International Marketing Director Rank – As long as you are qualified at this rank, you will earn an extra $60,000 from the company every month.
Gold International Marketing Director Rank – As long as you are qualified at this rank, you will earn an extra $100,000 from the company every month.

Luxury Car Bonus Commissions

Neora also offers a car bonus that is similar to the lifestyle bonus that was explained in the last section.

This bonus commission is paid out to you once you qualify and maintain the rank of Elite Director rank and higher and also generate at least 15,000 GV per month.

The company offers you commissions to pay or lease a car each month but you also have the option to choose a cash payout as well.

Here is what you can earn when you qualify for the luxury car bonus commissions:

Elite to Regional Marketing Director Ranks – When you are qualified at these ranks, the company will pay you $500 towards a car payment or lease, or you can choose a cash option of $375.
National Marketing to Gold National Marketing Director Ranks – When you are qualified at these ranks, the company will pay you $750 towards a car payment or lease, or you can choose a cash option of $475.
Platinum National Marketing Directors and higher Ranks – When you are qualified at these ranks, the company will pay you $1000 towards a car payment or lease, or you can choose a cash option of $650.

Yes, Neora is accredited with the Better Business Bureau.

They have an A+ rating with accreditation

They have been accredited since 2014, which would make sense since they simply rebranded themselves into a new name.

They have a 4-star customer review rating.

What’s The Cost To Join Neora?

The minimum cost to join Neora as an affiliate member is $49.95.

With that said, they do offer membership packs that come with a variety of products and some getting started material.

Here is a breakdown on the price for the Neora membership packs:

Builder Pack – $750
Premier Builder Pack – $1000

The difference in price is the number of products you will receive per pack.

You do get a bulk wholesale discount and additional volume for the higher purchase.
